Out Comes The Camera
We had record snow in the Pacific Northwest. Snowed in, it was a perfect opportunity to take a walk with my camera. It was cold and the air was fresh. The light was soft and all around was white, white and more white...with a soft blue coming from the sky.
We were having Robins come by our home in groups that day and I wondered what they were up to. Not far down the path, perched on a favorite old tree that I've photographed over the years, lo and behold the Robins were coming and going and having a good time of it.
After a bit of conversation with them they finally co-operated to organize in a reasonable balance for the photograph, it took a while but patience saved the day. This photograph is the result.
Went back home to a fire in the wood stove and played some guitar. It was a good day to be snowed in.
